Subject to any
applicable death benefit guarantee, any part of the premium or other amount
that is allocated to any applicable death benefit guarantee, any part
of the premium or other amount that is allocated to a segregated fund,
under the Freedom funds and marketwatch investment options, is invested
at the risk of the policyowner and may increase or decrease in value according
to the fluctuations in the market value of the assets of the segregated
fund.
An investment in
the Freedom Fund or Marketwatch investment option is eligible for registration
as a Retirement Savings Plan. As such, some terms of the contract may
have to be modified. Registered investments may be more suitable as long
term investments. All aspects of registration should be discussed with
your Freedom 55 Financial Security Advisor prior to any decision to invest
or register the product.
