The 18th edition of 24h Tremblant was a huge success, as the event set multiple records with $4,067,291 raised and 3,524 participants. Those that came out to ski, run, and walk for 24 hours helped support Fondation Charles-Bruneau, Fondation Tremblant, and the Ottawa Senators Foundation.
In addition to being the presenting sponsor, Freedom 55 Financial also had a large presence participating at this year’s 24h Tremblant, with 22 teams raising $210,542 of the record amount for the three foundations.
"I’m enthralled by the commitment shown by so many participants in Tremblant’s 24h and the support for children’s causes,” 24h Tremblant executive producer Simon St-Arnaud said. “The effort they put in for months prior to the event brings results year after years, and I’m proud to share this magical moment with all of the participants.”
All of the participants put forth a tremendous effort over the course of weekend while raising money for the kids. Everyone combined to run and walk a whopping 36,100 kilometres and ski 19,327 runs during the event.
“I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished – financially and physically – to help improve children’s health and well-being,” said Monique Maynard, President Quebec Affairs at Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life.
As always, 24h Tremblant wouldn’t be possible without the help of dedicated volunteers. More than 350 people gave their time to make sure the event was a great success.
“I am always immensely moved when I see the impact donations have on the three foundations that benefit from this event,” said Patrice Malo, President of Fondation 24h Tremblant. “Many lives have been, and will continue to be, changed this year. To everyone who contributed, directly and indirectly, to the success of the 18th edition of Tremblant’s 24h, I have just two words: thank you! Thank you for believing, thank you for participating, thank you for giving. Your gestures make a real difference.”
If you weren’t able to attend this year, don’t miss out on the fun in 2019. Join us for the 19th edition of 24h Tremblant from December 6-9, 2019. See you there.
