Share the ice with hockey’s future stars at CHL community skates

#Freedom in the community

Some Freedom 55 Financial advisors, clients and their families are getting the chance to skate with some of hockey’s future stars.

Partnering with the CHL, clients in certain cities with an OHL, WHL or QMJHL team will have a chance to skate in the arena where their local team plays alongside some of the players. Following the skate, clients and their families will get the chance to connect with the players at a reception where an autograph session will take place.

A handful of community skates events have already taken place this season and people can’t stop talking about how fun they were. David MacNeil, the Director of Business Development for Freedom 55 Financial, recently attended a skate with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL and about 100 clients and advisors. He had nothing but positive things to say about the experience.

“The feedback we have gotten from this has been incredible,” MacNeil said. “All the kids received a dually branded Freedom 55 and Screaming Eagles puck, as well as mini sticks.  Many kids took advantage of the great hospitality of the Screaming Eagles and got a lot of autographs.  I can’t say enough about how great the team was to deal with in helping organize this.”

There are still several more skates slated to take place this hockey season, so check the schedule below and consult your advisor to see if there’s an opportunity to skate with a team in your area.

See you on the ice!
